Product Introduce
304 stainless steel round tube is an industrial pipe mainly composed of chromium nickel alloy, with a carbon content of ≤ 0.08%. The grades include 00Cr19Ni10 and S30408, and comply with multiple national standards such as GB9684-88, ASTM, JIS, etc.
Chemical composition
- Core element: Chromium (Cr) 18% -20% → forms a dense oxide film to resist corrosion; Nickel (Ni) 8% -10.5% → enhances ductility and high-temperature stability.
- Low carbon control: Carbon (C) ≤ 0.08% (high-quality products can reach 0.03% -0.06%), significantly reducing the risk of intergranular corrosion.
- Harmful element restrictions: sulfur (S) ≤ 0.03%, phosphorus (P) ≤ 0.035%, to avoid thermal and cold brittleness.

- 304 (06Cr19Ni10):
- Standard type, suitable for general corrosion-resistant environments.
- 304L (022Cr19Ni10):
- Low carbon type, less prone to intergranular corrosion after welding, suitable for occasions with high welding requirements.
- 304H (07Cr19Ni10):
- High carbon type, better high temperature resistance, suitable for high temperature environments.
