What is SuperDyma Steel<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

SuperDyma is a new type of corrosion resistant coated steel plate, which is mainly composed of zinc, which is composed of about 11% aluminum, 3% magnesium and a small amount of silicon, so it can also be called zinc magnesium aluminum coated steel (ZAM steel).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared with hot-dip galvanized steel and 5% aluminum alloy hot-dip galvanized steel. The adhesion amount of SuperDyma attachment quantity is relatively Less. But it has the same corrosion resistance.
The results of brine spray test show that SuperDyma has excellent corrosion resistance from the reduction rate of coating, which is 15 times that of hot-dip galvanized steel and 5-8 times that of hot-dip galvanized aluminum alloy steel.In addition, because of its excellent resistance to red rust, it can be used instead of stainless steel or aluminum plate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Origin and definition of ZnAIMg<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

ZnAlMg plate originated in Japan, began by Japan’s Nishin Steel Company in the early 21st century research and development and mass production, due to the island maritime climate, many typhoons and earthquakes, so the requirements of steel high strength and high corrosion resistance, while Japan’s lack of resources, production raw materials supply and demand tension, so the development of ZnAlmg plate, that is to improve corrosion resistance, but also effective use of resources to reduce costs and protect the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the different composition of aluminum and magnesium in ZnAlMg plates developed by different enterprises, there are many ZnAlmg plates with different composition ratios.
For example, Nippon Steel developed ZAM (Zn-6%Al-3%Mg) products, Nippon Steel SuperDyma Board (Zn-11%Al-3%Mg) products, Tyson’s ZnMgEcoprotect (Zn-1%Al-1%Mg) products, Vai Corrender (Zn- 2%Al-2%Mg) products, ArcelorMittal’s Magnelis (Zn- 3.7%Al-3.0%Mg) products and so on.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

SuperDyma Steel Production Line<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

At present, Wanzhi Steel Factory has two SuperDyma production lines. One has 3 hot-dip galvanizing baths to make pure zinc steel (GI) and ZAM steel. The thickness covers 0.4mm- 2.5mm and the width varies 1,000mm – 1,500mm. The products are suitable for home appliance panels and automotive boards. While the other one has 2 hot-dip galvanizing baths to produce aluminium zinc steel (GL) and ZAM steel. Its thickness is 0.3mm -2.0mm and the width is 600mm -1,550mm. The products are mainly used as the substrate of color-coated steel and building materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
