Aluminum coil is a kind of metal sheet. As the name suggests, it is made by melting aluminum ingots, adding different alloys, and then processing them into coils of a certain width and thickness through casting, hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing, cross-cutting and other processes.

Pure aluminum coil and aluminum alloy coil are the two major categories of aluminum coil. Pure aluminum coil refers to aluminum coil with an aluminum content of more than 99%, which has good ductility, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. It is mainly used in electronics, electrical, chemical and other fields. Aluminum alloy coils add other elements to pure aluminum, improve its mechanical and chemical properties through alloying, and are suitable for different application fields, such as construction, packaging, aerospace, automobiles, etc.

At present, China’s aluminum coil production technology has reached the level of developed countries. According to different alloy compositions, heat treatment states and surface treatment methods, Aluminum coils can be roughly divided into 9 categories. The common ones are 1000 series, 2000 series, 3000 series, 5000 series, 6000 series and 7000 series.

1000 Series aluminum coil belongs to the pure aluminum series, with an aluminum content of more than 99%. It has good ductility, conductivity and corrosion resistance, but relatively low strength. Therefore, it is often used in occasions where strength requirements are not high, such as food packaging, capacitor housing, etc.

2000 Series aluminum coil uses copper as the main alloying element, has high strength and hardness, but poor corrosion resistance. This feature makes it an important material in aerospace, transportation and other fields, such as aircraft structural parts, automobile wheels, etc.

3000 Series aluminum coil uses manganese as the main alloying element, which not only maintains good formability and corrosion resistance, but also improves its strength by adding manganese. Therefore, it is widely used in construction, kitchenware, chemical containers and other fields.

5000 Series aluminum coil uses magnesium as the main alloying element, has excellent corrosion resistance, good weldability and high strength, and is one of the most widely used aluminum alloys. It plays an important role in building curtain walls, shipbuilding, refrigeration equipment and other fields.

The 6000 series aluminum coil uses silicon and magnesium as the main alloying elements. Through heat treatment, it can obtain higher strength and hardness while maintaining good corrosion resistance. It is often used in structural parts that need to withstand greater stress, such as bridges, rail vehicles, etc.

The 7000 series aluminum coil uses zinc as the main alloying element. It is one of the strongest series in aluminum alloy and has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Due to its high cost and difficulty in processing, it is mostly used in high-end aerospace fields and high-performance sports equipment.

3. The paint pattern formed by continuous coating and high-temperature baking has high gloss retention, good color stability, and minimal color difference. The polyester paint is guaranteed for 10 years, and the fluorocarbon paint is guaranteed for more than 20 years.
4. High-quality aluminum, plastic and adhesive are selected, and advanced composite technology is adopted. The product has the bending and folding strength required for decorative panels. Under the four-season climate conditions, changes in wind pressure, temperature, humidity and other factors will not cause bending, deformation, expansion, etc.
5. Anti-corrosion of salt, alkali and acid rain, it will not corrode or produce toxic bacteria, will not release any toxic gases, will not cause rust on the keel and fixings, and is flame retardant. According to China’s national regulations, it is not lower than B1 level.
