201 acero inoxidable is a low-nickel, high-manganese austenitic stainless steel primarily used to replace the more expensive 300 series (especially 304) stainless steel. It is suitable for components used in dry indoor environments, such as decorative pipes, industrial pipes, and watch cases. Its key features include low cost, high strength and hardness, and a degree of magnetic properties after cold working. However, its corrosion and rust resistance are inferior to those of 304 stainless steel.
