How 316 stainless steel is manufactured

316 stainless steel manufacturing is mainly divided into three steps: melting, casting, and rolling. 316 stainless steel is usually produced in an electric arc furnace (EAF). Based on high-purity metal raw materials such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum and scrap steel, the raw materials are melted and mixed in an electric furnace.
